Your route to Altona will depend on where you’re starting from. Therefore make your way to the main intersection in Lyndoch, where the B19 and B31 meet (UBD Map 005, G 3). Drive east on the B19 (towards Rowland Flat and Tanunda) for 1 km. Turn left on Altona Road and drive about 1.5 km to where the road bends to the right. Park near the Reserve entrance at this bend, and meet here at 9.30 am.  
For those of you coming from the Adelaide Plains, your best route may be to take the Main North Road (A52) to Gawler, turning off the Gawler Bypass on to the B19 at UBD Map 33, F8. Follow the B19 into Gawler and turn right in the centre of Gawler towards Lyndoch (UBD Map 23, M8), staying on the B19. When you reach Lyndoch, use the previous paragraph to reach Altona Landcare Reserve.
