WHEN ON FIELD TRIPS
While safety and welfare are the responsibility of each participant the following are suggested….


  • Knowledge of the forecasted weather conditions.
  • The advice re the terrain and length of walk be given at each meeting preceding the excursion.
  • Wear footwear, hat, sunburn cream and clothing appropriate to the conditions.
  • Carry water.
  • Carry sugar content such as sweets/health bars.
  • The use of walking poles and the carrying of first aid items is at the discretion of each participant.
  • It is the responsibility of members who invite friends to an excursion, to familiarise their guest/s with these suggestions
The next Sunday Outing will be on 18th May, to Lot 50 Kanyanyapilla. This is a private reserve south of McLaren Vale.
Take the Victor Harbor Road (A13) to the McLaren Vale turnoff on the left (UBD Map 206 L8). Drive through the centre of McLaren Vale (UBD Map 207 E 14) and continue on Main Road as it curves to the right.

 After about 2.5 km, look for the crossroad with Branson Road and Rifle Range Road (UBD Map 217 G7). Turn right on Branson Road.

Drive about 2 km to the junction of Branson Road and Pethick Road (UBD Map 216 Q7). Continue straight ahead into the property and park on the left on the grass under the peppertree.
